HOME OF DAISUKE ENDO
PIAZZA PROVESANO 8, APT 5, SIENA, ITALY
R.S.V.P.
For Parlour’s inaugural European show, Par Avion, we invited our artist friends and friends of artist friends from around the world to send us an artwork in postcard form. The response has been wonderful with new works coming in every day-- from both US coasts, Europe and as far away as Taiwan. Each participating artist will be sent the work of another artist after the show as a holiday gift and idea exchange of international propositions. Par Avion is hosted by Daisuke Endo in the historic center of Siena, Italy.
While the list keeps getting bigger and bigger, the featured artists thus far are:
Damalia Abrams, Samuel T. Adams, Martin Bothe, Tim Breukers, Gary Burnley, Corey D’Augustine, Laura Fayer, Ben Furgal, Micah Ganske, Daniel Gorostiaga, Matilda Huang, Elizabeth Hirsch, Faten Kanaan, Emily Noelle Lambert, Elysa Lozano, Colette Murphy, Sandra Mack-Valencia, Rachel Meuler, Sophy Naess, Cadine Navarro, Jiyoung Park, Andy Parker, Colette Robbins, Danielle Rosa, Susan Ross, Zachary Royer Scholz, Emily Roz, Carmelle Safdie, Carolyn Salas, Gregory Siff, Emet Sosna, Trish Tillman, Adriël Van Drimmelen, Jeremy Wagner, Mary-Ruth Walsh, Paul Weston, Silke Wobst, Simon Woolham, Heeseop Yoon, Natalia Yovane, and Žaneta Zubkova.
Parlour is a nomadic exhibition space started in 2008 that presents temporary exhibitions in different homes throughout New York City and, beginning in 2010, around the world. Its impetus is to showcase the work of contemporary artists in a unique and dynamic setting.
